Sunshine and Hogs

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Oh the joys of the summer are hard to quantify! Cant it be said that, indeed, our lives have become so much more rich and wholesome due to the welcome rays of the sun? Yes it can be said, and here is where it shall be proclaimed! In an act of wild savagery, however, the clouds have come and have thwarted the divine efforts of the gracious sun. so where, once, the rays of divine light and warmth shone down on to man, woman and child, now the earth is wrapped in the fetid blanket of the cloud-god. He wreaks his havoc and destruction like the warlord that he is, the tears of his starved army do fall on us below. However, in response to this the sun burns his golden way through the smoke and the dampest of mires, smiting the moisture and greyness as he goes. Into the darkness goes s blessed light, and into our hearts returns the happiness that we once knew, all of 5 hours ago.

Now the sun is here and we can all have a happy hog roast. Everyone’s a winner (except for the pig in question, but even he appreciates that, in the wake of his death, much pleasure has been derived from his ample carcass)

Janes the Word!

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

What a week so far, its been full of fun and loaded with surprises! All of our machines have had their initial summer reports back and they are looking great. Having catered for hundreds of events already this year, our catering teams have had some of the finest culinary experiences to date. With our ingredients being even fresher than ever before, our customers have been busy sending us congratulatory emails in their tens and hundreds – very flattering indeed! In the office, one of our lovely office ladies has been proposed to by a local fish merchant. After a short romance, they have announce that they will be tying the knot later this year. So congratulations to them both and we hope everything goes swimmingly well for them. Jane has now started to concoct more dishes made with fish and she seems to be loving the idea of being out at sea, with waters and emotions high. Always a lover of a great sunset, Jane positively glows when she thinks of the old fisherman and the sea.

In other developments, we have been the proud recipients of the local ‘community brilliance’ awards, which states that our offices and enterprises not only help to reduce pollution, but also help to preserve wildlife and natural ecosystems in our local area. Apart from helping to reduce the large pig populations, our endeavours in the field of the environment truly are great and its something we’ve all had a hand in.

The season has begun with a bang, as all the catering teams have been rushed off their feet! As a chef of distinction myself, I have been paying my own part in a whole host of catering assignments this summer season, and have been loving every minute. The thing is, you rarely find a catering outfit like ours, or any other company for that matter; as we all believe wholeheartedly in the produce we utilise and the food we serve. In fitting with the vision and operating ethos of our company at its outset, the nature of our events hinge on total brilliance, with no stone left un-turned in the quest to find culinary magnificence. Where many caterers only work within a certain framework, our services have allowed us to cater for the whole breadth of Britain’s culinary expectations, and this summer, so far, has been no exception. Armed with ingredients which are purer than the thoughts of the highest Buddhist monk, we approach our events full of confidence and eager to deliver the food which has made us synonymous with culinary wonderment. These boasts are not unfounded, just pick up the phone, become involved and understand how and why. Where our food will put a smile on your face, our service will warm you r heart. Where the sands of time have weathered your brow, our hog and spit roast solutions will soothe and relax the most weary and stressed of your muscles. Come with us, we will lead you to food heaven. It’s a heaven on earth, and we have the key.
