A good morning to you all on this freezing cold, miserable
day! I’m in Sunny Brighton, although it’s anything but today. On my way over it
was absolutely throwing it down and pushing sub-zero, worse still, the heater
in the office is playing up again – I’m sat with a big flask of coffee just to
try and stay warm!

Let me jump right into this and let you know what I got up
to yesterday. Yesterday I was in Brighton for the first time in quite a while
and I was chasing down interested parties who need catering and other services.
Spoke to a good number of people and closed some big contracts for the start of
next year. Also finalised a few dates for machine hire this month. The machine
hire is always popular at this time of year as people, pubs, clubs and
restaurants are looking to do something special for Christmas and New Year
celebrations. If you’re planning to throw an impressive Christmas or New Year’s
celebration you can’t go past hiring a hog roast machine for value. It’s
incredibly cheap and so easy to cook with our machines that anybody can cook
food that’s downright amazing. But if you have the money and a big enough guest
list why not let us take the stress of your shoulders and do all the hard work
for you with the best hog roast catering service to be found in all of
Brighton!

For long time readers of the
blog you know what to do, if this is your first time visiting our website our
office staff work from 9-5, Monday-Friday and you can speak with our team
through email or phone. If it’s catering that you’re after we have an enquiry
form on the website, if you fill that out and send it to us we’ll respond
within 24 hours with hog roast catering quotes for your Brighton event.

Enjoy a lovely hog and spit roast.

Thursday, May 24th, 2012

What a fine day for a hog and spit roast – and today you get to see just how important it is to get all the little details right in order to create the perfect whole. As the owner of the business, it is important for me to know that all of our services are achieving as and how I want them to. Without this knowledge I can have no control – and without control my position is to a point, pointless. When we began we were a tiny outfit, so quality management was easy – as everything we ever had or did was under my nose. Nowadays, we are much larger and can cater for numerous catering assignments per day. So, come with me and lets have a look at how things are going today.

Having just visited the first culiary expeditiona at the wedding of one of our clients I am pleased to report that the food and service is exceptional. Indeed, I dont know if even I was that good at carving a whole roast pig. On viewing the pig, I could see that the seasonong cmbinatoin had successfully penetrated into the meat, which is always a bonus. The crackling was prepared with an expert hand and I could not fault any part of the service. I left, leaving the chefs and staff to get on with it – they don’t want an old codger like me in the way anyway! A perfect Hog Roast in Bolton.

My next stop took me to a sports club on the outskirts of town – in a lovely rural location. Here, the service was outside beneath the natural canopy of a large tree. The atmosphere was jovial. I arrived in great time, as the meat was not yet ready for service and the chefs were completing the vegetable and salad dishes. A great variety was on show – with the fresh tomato and mozzarella salad looking beautiful as it was garnished with olive oil. As the meat was served I heard gasps of anticipation – these gasps saying it all really – when do you ever get that sort of reaction with other types of food preparation.

Compliment your anniversary with the perfect meal.

We love our job all the time – however you sometimes get those days where you feel that what you do is genuinely rewarding. This happened yesterday at the events of one of our clients. As ever, completing a Hog Roast in Northampton is what we love to do – and this event was no exception in that respect. The client had used event catering many times before for their wedding anniversaries in the past -however our caterng at this event was to be the first time that they had ever tried a hog or a spit roast.

On arriving at the location we immediately set about erecting ouur gazebos for the outside roasting and service. The weather was great so that was a bonus – however, due to our complete flexibility we have absolutely no problems when it comes to roasting our menus in any weather. Due to our machines high performance levels, the meat isnot affected at all – meaning our clients can enjoy their beutiful hog and spit roasted food whatever the weather throws at them. Once the meat was roasting we set about creating the other dishes on the menu – and by this time we had quite a following! Many guests had come to see just what a hog roast looked like and they were all enthralled. Once again – as happens nearly every time we roast our meats – our food is more than just for eating. We involve all of the senses and get people genuinely excited and interested.

During service it was great to see people enhoying food the way it should be – meat roasted slow over flames and served with seasonal vegetables and glorious salads.

Througout the evening the wine flowed and flowed – and people kept coming back for more and more delicious and tasty hog roasted food – all smiles the whole night through. We enjoyed showing our clients and their guests just how much better a hog roast is to conventional modern day catering – and we look forward to seeing them, and you, next time!

We cater for a wide array of events in Warrington.

Monday, May 21st, 2012

Today I’m in Warrington and I have been busy these last few days with a couple of different hog roast catering events, from weddings to parties.

We have plenty of hog roast services to be had in Warrington, all at great prices.

If you need catering in Warrington our hog roast catering is the best in town and we’ve grown a reputation for being able to provide the tastiest hog roasts while keeping costs down. There’s nothing to rival the great aromas, tastes and even the sight of a good hog roast. We cater for all types of occasions so whether you need catering for a wedding, party or a corporate event we’re the company for the job. Hog Roast Event Catering have the best hog roast machines in the country and when you factor in the professional expert hog roast chefs and waiters we use you can see why the combination has made us a catering favourite in Warrington.

Another of our many amazing hog roast services is our hog roast machine hire, in fact, that’s what I’ve been doing all morning – Trawling through machine hire enquiries and getting back to interested parties. My staff are always knee deep in calls and emails from people who want to hire a machine and the reason for that is pretty simple, Hog Roast Event Caterers create and stock the best machines in Warrington. If you want to hire a machine we hire on an event or monthly basis and have 2 different machine models, one tailored for personal party use and the other larger model for commercial use by caterers or restaurant owners.

You can find out more about our services by having a look on the website or phoning us. Unfortunately I have to cut this blog post short as we’re catering at a big retirement party on the outskirts of Warrington in a few hours.

Thanks for reading, as always.

We’re shortlisted for an award!

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

Well, well, well… I have some great news to share with our
readers today. I’ve just gotten off the phone with an authority in the UK
catering industry and have been told we’re shortlisted for an award for
catering innovation. It’s not the first time we’ve been up for awards or even
won awards, but this one is a big one and could really help us once again grow
that little bit more. It’s funny because every year I seem to think we’re as
successful as is possible, and every year I’m surprised by growth and
improvement that didn’t seem to be theoretically possible before hand.

That’s the good news for today. The bad news is I’m in
Southampton! All jokes aside I’ve just arrived in Southampton, the Sun is out,
so much so that I could barely see the road on my way to the office, and I’ve a
busy day of hog roasting ahead of me.

Straight away I’ll be leaving the office to visit another
office and provide a business meeting lunch for a small party of 20. Simple is
best for these type of events, nothing to adventurous, we’ll be serving the
roasted lamb option. After that I don’t even have time to return to the office
as I’m driving straight over to the next venue to help the team again, this
time for the re-opening of a rather historic pub in Southampton. The customer
isn’t all to sure how many people need feeding so we decided on shooting high
and cooking enough for 600 people. We’ll be serving pigs and chickens from a
rather large beer garden and the day couldn’t be any nicer. The client has
hired a few marquees but with any luck they won’t be needed.

As you can well imagine I can’t wipe the smile from my face
today and I can’t wait for the rest of the team to arrive at the office so I
can tell them the good news.

Hope you’re still enjoying the blog, call us for more
information on hog roast catering, hog roast machine hire and hog roast machine
sales in Southampton.

I have another busy
day ahead of me today and I’m working in Tunbridge once again. To start with
we’re currently looking for a new member of our office team and I have a few
potential employees who I’ll be interviewing this morning for the position. I’m
hoping that we can fill the position today as the rest of the office team are
being swamped with work lately, with lots of people needing catering over the
coming months.

Once that’s out of the way I’m looking forward to finishing
the day early and getting home for a few days. There’s several events we’ll be
providing catering for today, but I’m not really needed as the team are more
than capable so I’ll be working from home for a day or two.

Yesterday we hog roast catered for a young man who is
raising money to help to raise awareness for testicular cance. He’s been
working towards raising awareness for several months and is looking to finish
his fund raising with a bang before studying in Australia. He’s hoping that he
can raise a sizable amount of money by throwing a large fund-raising event and
with our help and hog roasting expertise he managed to raise just over £6,000
from 800 guests. Not a bad effort by anyone’s standards. We provided food from
the informal sit down buffet menu and guests had a great choice of delicious
out of this world spit roasted meals.

Hog roasts are a great way to
help increase donations at a fund raising event. Better still is if you really
want to maximise the money you’re raising you don’t even need to use our
catering service… We have a machine hire service for an nth of the cost. You
can be using your very own hog roast machine for the day for as little as £195
a month and we’re including delivery, collection, a bottle of gas and
instruction. Hog roasting is easy; we’ll show you how to work the machines on
delivery. When you hire machines you’re able to raise so much more as there’s
little in the way of outgoing costs.

No event is too big for our hog roasts to handle.

Good afternoon once again to our loyal blog readers and to
anyone who’s just happened across the blog. I’m writing and working from London
today… So, I might as well delve straight into what it is I’m going to be
doing on this surprisingly nice day.

Throughout the day I’ll be doing the usual office work,
nothing to exciting or entertaining. Tonight however I’ll be heading up my
catering team for a very big corporate/political seminar and dinner for, wait
for it… 1400 people! That’s right. The event’s a big’un and the place is
going to be packed full of influential and successful business men/women and
politicians. If we can woo the guests with amazing food and service there’s
potential from this event to grab a whole host of new clients, most of which
would require catering for events on a similar scale, hundreds, if not
thousands of people.

Given the nature of the event it shouldn’t be surprising to
learn that the dinner is a sit-down event. We’ll be going all out for this dinner
and are taking 6 hog roast machines with us. Not only are we going to be
cooking a great variety of spit roasted foods, the number of machines will also
look amazing. Any hog roast machine cooking whole animals looks fantastic, but
having several gives a real air of drama and we’re hoping to add to the sense
of occasion. That’s one of the many reasons people enjoy hog roasting for their
events, whole animals being cooked on a beautiful stainless steel machine gives
the event that little bit extra . Hog roasting manages to be honest as well as
being extravagant at the same time.

Naturally I’m excited today, but
until tonight I’ll be busy here making sure everything is in place and all our
chefs and staff are ready to go. That’s what my day looks like. To have us
catering at your own event simply ring the office and one of our dedicated
sales team will help guide you towards a decision that’s right for you

We offer high class catering for all events.

Good morning readers, I’m working in Sevenoaks. Travelling
up and down the country can grow tiresome at times, but being able to visit new
places and meet new people more than makes up for it. Sevenoaks is one location
I really enjoy catering in, as the locals are a great bunch and the pubs and
great quality too.

Unfortunately I won’t be here long before I’m moving on
again, but while I am here there’s several events that I’m helping with. I’ll
outline them below because it’s a great demonstration of how suitable hog roasting
is, despite the various circumstances that each event provides. Here’s a diary
of events:

Today – Business Breakfast, 12 people; Wedding, 80 people;
Birthday Party, 200 people

Tomorrow – Corporate Seminar, 80 people; Wedding, 160
people; Works party, 130 people

As you can see there’s plenty of variety in the events I’ll
be involved in today and tomorrow. Not
only are the occasions different, but the number of people varies a fair deal
and so do the menus that we’ll be working from. There are 4 different menus in
total that we’ll be offering across the 6 events. You couldn’t think of an
event, outside of a vegetarian get-together, where hog roasting isn’t ideal.
Over the last few months I’ve catered at everything from Christenings to Indian
Weddings to Corporate functions to eid parties, barbecues, bonfire parties, sports
games and birthday celebrations. We’re a revolutionary force within the world
of hog roasting and have shown time and time again that there’s nothing one
dimensional about spit roasts in 2012. We’re even able to cook halal meats and
imitation meats and vegetarian friendly meals.

It’s no wonder then that we’ve grown as popular as we are,
as fast as we have. From only word of mouth custom we’ve developed into one of
Sevenoaks most popular caterers.

I’m going to have to cut the
blog post short unfortunately as I have a very busy day ahead of me and the
team are just about ready to set-off to the next venue, and waiting on me it
seems. Thanks for reading and keep checking back for the more insight into the
company.

A very good morning to all of our blog readers, I’m in Weybridge
at the moment and I can’t wipe the smile from my face. Just been contacted by
an old work colleague from decades past – completely coincidently – who’s in
need of catering for his Wedding. You couldn’t script the timing of my being in
Weybridge any better. Funnily enough his Dad was also in the business of hog
roasting so selling him on what we do couldn’t have been much easier. It’s
definitely true when they say that it’s a small world.

That’s some while away though so I’ll focus my attention to
today. Oddly enough today I’m also catering at a wedding with the rest of my
hog roast team. I say a wedding; we’re actually catering for the after-party
later on in the evening. The event will be at one of Weybridges more popular
hotels and we’re going to be cooking for just shy of 130 people. Because it’s a
late evening event/party rather than part of the wedding ceremony itself we’ll
be serving party food to match the laid back party atmosphere. Tonight we’re
serving a buffet with a fantastic selection of Canapés, Mains, Salads and
Desserts. We’re providing some free range chicken and lamb that we’ve just
acquired from the local butcher; it’s freshly bought today and looks fit for a
king! We’ll also be providing a bar for the guests throughout the evening.

Yesterday evening I helped out the catering team who were
cooking at a local music festival, nothing too complicated or elaborate, simple
hog roast sandwiches, spit roasted chicken sandwiches and barbecued burgers and
sausages for the guests. I think I’m suffering from temporary deafness but
aside from that it was a very enjoyable night and the music wasn’t half bad.

That’s probably the 4th or 5th time
I’ve catered at a festival this year. Seems to be a growing trend to have a hog
roast at large festivals and it’s great to be outside and feeding thousands of
hungry people.

Why not give us a call if you’re having a wedding or musical
festival and need catering for the event? We have competitive prices and a
service that blows the competition out of the water.

And that’s all for today, have a
good day.
