Getting the just rewards for your hard work is a fine thing. It is always so wonderful to be told you are getting a promotion, especially after all of the work that you have put in. So, then, it is also absolutely a thing to be celebrated in big style when it does come, and you can always do so with Hog Roast Essex’s catering.

That was the thinking of our customer from last week, Kevin, who was so taken with his wife Carly’s recent job promotion that he couldn’t help but want to immediately throw her a party over the bank holiday weekend. Kevin called up the Hog Roast Essex team and informed us of his wife’s recent situation. We could immediately tell how proud he was of her and how much she deserved to have a little celebration in her name, so we of course accepted the job and immediately got to work putting together a plan to be able to surprise her with fresh dining and all of her friends and work colleagues.

Carly had no idea that this party was going to be happening at all. It made it all the more satisfying when we were all able to jump out and surprise her at her own home. Throughout the afternoon the Hog Roast Essex team had been cooking our hog roast back at our own kitchen so that it would be just about perfectly ready by the time of the surprise. The timing worked out just about perfectly as we set ourselves up in the garden with the last of our hog roasting done as everyone took their hiding places. We had also been freshly preparing our other dishes to go along with our hog roast as the rest of the guests arrived in anticipation of the surprise, too. By the time Carly returned home, everything was ready to go on our end only minutes after!

It was a great way to toast to all of the hard work that Carly has put in, and an excellent way to spend part of the Easter weekend here at Hog Roast Essex!
