Getting married is one of the biggest life transitions a person can go through, so it stands to reason that newlyweds-to-be would want to celebrate their day appropriately. That’s where we come in. Because even with things being as limited as they are this year, Taste the Cracklin still believes that every loved-up couple should be allowed to feel special on their big day. So, with decades of experience at our back and an unrivalled passion for what we do, we promise that hiring our devoted team is one of the best decisions you can make ahead of your wedding day!
One couple, who had read so many positive things about us that had been written by our happy clients of the past, were Anna and Dominic. Let’s just say after seeing some real-life snaps of our creations, the couple were dying for us to spruce up their wedding breakfast! Like most couples this year, the pair’s original wedding plans had been shattered by COVID restrictions. But still grateful to be able to go ahead with their ceremony surrounded by 12 of the most important people in their lives, they reached out and asked Taste the Cracklin to handle the catering.
Anna’s parents had kindly offered their back garden as the reception venue for the occasion, which Taste the Cracklin arrived at several hours before the celebrations began. This punctuality that we are renowned for is what gives our catering team enough time to transform the meats into fork-tender perfection, so by the time the happy couple returned with the rest of the wedding party, the feast was complete.
When Anna, Dominic and their guests arrived, they were greeted by a spread that consisted of two meat options which were slow roasted pork joints and Cajun spiced whole roast chickens. As well as this, the Taste the Cracklin team had prepared our famous grilled veggie skewers with tzatziki dip and flatbreads, as well as sides of crunchy coleslaw, garden-fresh salads and warm new potatoes in herb butter.
As always the food proved to be an immediate hit with the ravenous guests, who eagerly munched away on the succulent meats and refreshing sides until the event came to an end.
