Taste the Cracklin pop up for a Street Fair!

The Taste the Cracklin team were certainly kept very busy last weekend when we were asked to provide some of our unbeatable hog roast sandwiches at a local street fair. The annual tradition always draws a large crowd, but this year the event organisers wanted to go the extra mile to get an even bigger turnout and they decided the best way to do this was to up the ante with the food on offer!

They wanted something a bit different from the usual items on offer at the street fair and when they contacted us, they were very happy with what we had to offer-freshly cooked, high quality food that could easily feed a large crowd without breaking the bank. What more could they want!

As well as our hog roast sandwiches being the ideal way to feed a large crowd without compromising on quality, our sleek hog roast machines also make a great centre piece for a large public event. People love gathering around to watch the meat in the final stages of the cooking process and the aroma is always guaranteed to get stomachs rumbling and mouths watering!

After being slowly roasted since early morning as the other stallholders were busy setting up, our ethically-reared, slow-roasted pork was falling off the bone and ready to be carved by our skilled chef as soon as the street fair got underway. In a matter of minutes, we were inundated with orders, but no matter how busy our service table gets, Taste the Cracklin’s multitasking catering assistants have the ability to provide the same level of consistent and friendly service and great food from the first plate to the last!

Our hog roast sandwiches with crispy crackling and our homemade apple sauce were hugely popular with the street fair crowd, with many people even coming back for seconds! The event organisers were very pleased with the results and thanked the Taste the Cracklin team for helping them to make their annual street fair even busier than ever with our superior pork and efficient service!
